CPaaS platforms also provide additional benefits for CCaaS such as AI-driven features and carrier-class scalability.

However, CPaaS also requires skilled developers to build and test applications. This restriction increases the time and cost needed to provide a contact center with new functionality, which are two of the primary benefits organizations are seeking to achieve by using cloud services.
