Highlights from Avaya ENGAGE 2018

The spotlight was on Unified Communications at Avaya ENGAGE 2018 in New Orleans, the annual International Avaya Users Group (IAUG) conference. The market for unified communications solutions continues to accelerate, and Avaya is harnessing its renewed spirit of innovation to “deliver a unique UC Experience Everywhere.”

The week was a busy one. Avaya announced a host of new devices, promotions and unified communications solutions in a busy learning and networking environment. Over 3,000 Avaya users came to the conference this year for training and content. Key topics included customer journey analytics, the digital transformation of the customer experience, and new technologies like AI, as the future of customer service. These things are top of mind as Aceyus adds new functionalities and tools to its platform. Many Avaya users stopped by the Aceyus booth to see how the Aceyus application can help them bring their contact center operations up to customer expectations.

Aceyus shared several new products – including dashboards that incorporate fresh, more effective reporting techniques. The Aceyus Assignment Manager (AAM) reskilling tool was also a topic of great interest as contact centers continue to look for ways to drive better performance from their contact center teams.
